It is an original museum and rich in discoveries. He teaches art, architecture, witchcraft, and Alsatian culture throughout history. In this former Renaissance-style hotel of the Sires of Andlau, with its scroll gables, its pretty sculpted door and its polygonal turret that houses a spiral staircase, and on 3 floors, the heritage of the territory of Barr and Bernstein is enhanced. On 700 m2, the interactive and playful exhibition seduces even the very youngest. The different modes of presentation allow you to discover the methods of building a fortified castle, a church or a half-timbered house... The permanent exhibition reveals the artisanal and architectural customs of the region. As for the temporary exhibition, it allows us to discover the particularities of this period. Parent-child workshops, construction games... the pedagogical approach makes it possible to understand and memorize the elements exposed. The visit can continue towards the abbey gallery where a curious craftswoman shapes the metal.
