CHAMPAGNE BENOÎT LAHAYE
Valérie and Benoît Lahaye are an atypical winemaking couple. Their small estate of 4.4 hectares, spread between Bouzy, Ambonnay and Tauxières-Mutry, is farmed organically and with animal traction, and their winemaking methods are beginning to attract the interest of many champagne producers in the region. Non-dosed wines, barrel ageing, non-use of sulfites for one of their cuvées (Cuvée Violaine, produced in very limited numbers)... Also worth discovering: the Cuvée Brut Nature, a fresh, lively, non-dosed wine that reveals a beautiful aromatic palette.
