Le Fournil de la Vallée, located in the Zone Artisanale des Quatre Routes in Léguillac-de-l'Auche, also caters for Saint-Astier gourmets. Here, farmhouse bread is baked over a wood fire, and there's a fine selection of organic and speciality breads. As for sweet treats, it's hard to resist Délice de la Vallée (crunchy praline, milk chocolate mousse and raspberry coulis) or Délice du Mitouflon (crunchy nougat, dark chocolate mousse and apricot compote). A must for lovers of good bread... but don't forget to think about it before Sunday!
