COLLÉGIALE NOTRE-DAME
Discover this medieval church, now a venue for contemporary art exhibitions and concerts: more info at the town hall.
Built in the 12th century, this church has stood the test of time. Initially the chapel of a vanished castle, it became a collegiate church in 1500, before being damaged by the Wars of Religion and the French Revolution. Its choir, topped by a dome on pendentives, features sumptuous 17th-century wall paintings, while Henri Guérin's stained-glass windows add a contemporary touch. Deconsecrated in 1935, it has recently been restored and reinvented as a space dedicated to art and concerts. A second life for a building steeped in history!
