In Ribérac, as bookshops close their doors, a different story is being written. Faced with the well-deserved retirement of Marcel and Jean-Yves, the local residents refused to let their precious place of culture disappear. Together, they founded a cooperative, giving birth to L'Arbre à Palabres, the first cooperative bookshop in the Dordogne, open since April 8, 2023. This collective project embodies the Ribéracois' passion for reading and their commitment to local development. A true symbol of solidarity and cultural dynamism to discover!
