First cooperative bookshop in the Dordogne: books of all kinds, directly advised by the local volunteer-readers.

Bookshops are disappearing one after the other, especially in small towns... but not here! When Marcel and Jean-Yves (who are taking a well-deserved retirement) announced the closure of this bookshop, the people of Ribérac decided to take things in hand. Indeed, for lack of buyer, they set up a cooperative in order to relaunch this beautiful place. L'Arbre à Palabres is open since April 8, 2023, and is the first cooperative bookshop of Dordogne.
