For ten generations, Ferme du Roussel has been perpetuating family know-how, offering artisanal meats, oils and soaps.
Isabelle and Pauline run Ferme du Roussel, a family farm that has been committed to organic farming for over 25 years. They produce Bordeaux veal and Gascon pork, transformed into charcuterie, preserves and ready-made meals. They also produce a renowned walnut oil, homemade jams and, since 2023, hemp for oils, herbal teas and soaps. In November 2024, their organic, hazelnut-flavored Gascon pork sausage won a gold medal at the Lyon international competition, a fine recognition of their artisanal know-how.

Opening time and information on GAEC FERME DU ROUSSEL
AB (agriculture biologique). Collège Culinaire de France. Welcome to the Farm. High season: open Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:30am to 12pm. Farm store open by appointment. From April 2025, we will welcome camping car drivers from the France Passion network. Delivery possible (see shipping rates on site). Blanquette de porc gascon bio 800 g : 18.90 €, enchaud de porc gascon bio 800 g : 23,50 €, huile de CBD Bio 5% 10 ml : 15 €, huile de noix bio 25 cl : 15 €. Cheques not accepted.
Owner's Message
Ferme du Roussel is located in Rampieux, Dordogne, and is run by the tenth generation of the Bonnefond family. The farm has been converted to organic farming for 25 years.
Today, Pauline and Isabelle raise black Gascon pigs from birth and suckler cows.
Regional recipes, cured meats and charcuterie are produced here.
Artisanal jams and walnut oil are made from fruit varieties grown in the orchard and garden.
Hemp was introduced in 2023, and is processed into macerates and herbal teas.
To complete the range in the farm store, there are artisanal soaps made from Gascony pork lard, Bordeaux cow's milk or hemp leaves, as well as two household soaps made with lard.
Isabelle and Pauline focus on authenticity, proximity and good food.
They will be delighted to welcome you to the farm store on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9.30am to 12pm in summer, and by appointment all year round outside these hours.
