A breathtaking cliff: Visit Europe's largest troglodytic city in the Vallée de l'Homme!
This limestone giant (1 km long, 80 m high) faces the Vézère Valley. The cliff offers incredible rock shelters, occupied by man for 55,000 years. Take your family back in time on a guided tour of the troglodyte fort and town. Enjoy workshops (paleo music, fire lighting, discovery of local birds, flint knapping) and medieval chivalry in season. In 01: 10am - 5pm (1/01: 2pm - 5:30pm), In 02 and 03 and from 1/10 to 11/11: 10am - 6pm. From 12/11 to end of Christmas vacations: 10am-5.30pm. Free for children under 7. Adults: €12.90 (disabled adults: €9). Children (8 to 14 years): 6 € (children (15/17 years): 8.50 €. Students (up to age 25): €9. Disabled children (up to 17): free). Wat ook leuk is, is om bij de parkeerplaats even naar beneden naar de rivier te lopen. Hier kom je na wat klimmen en klauteren uit bij een prachtige overhangende rots en kun je heerlijk aan de waterkant zitten. (Zie foto 6)
