At the beginning of the town hall of Coulounieix, the Wooden Loop is a 14.5 km journey from 3:30 a. m. It is, however, possible to segment it for a one hour walk, to discover the cultural heritage of Coulounieix. The path, thus reduced to just over 3 km, is divided between road, trail and forest, to take you to the castle of Plague. A few hundred meters further, you will reach a beautiful view, before finishing the promenade at the Rolphie Castle. There are three options for you: turn around to go back to the village, extend on a small loop of 2.2 km that will bring you back to the castle, or make the entire loop to return to Coulounieix.
