For 131 years, the traditional festivals of the Saint-Georges district have brought together young and old around ever more beautiful and taller rides: the arrival of fairgrounds is an event in town, they settle in the heart of the district, from the Saint-Georges crossroads to the Petit-Change. An army of volunteers, around Serge Perrier, welcomed them and accompanied them in the installation of the 85 attractions (shooting, lotteries, duck fishing, sensational rides). All generations enjoy the tradition of the snails, the famous snails emblematic of these festivals, to be enjoyed in the surrounding restaurants and bars. Bandas, fishing competitions and fireworks complete the highlights... 20,000 people generally attend the demonstration. As part of the Vigipirate plan, this meeting is increasingly secure.
