A new Michelin-starred restaurant serving inventive cuisine with ultra-fresh, selected produce. An address not to be missed!

Chef Eric Vidal is at the helm with his wife Magali, who greets diners with a warm and friendly welcome. The inventive cuisine, cooked just right and prepared with ultra-fresh, carefully selected produce, is simply divine. The wine list is outstanding. Special mention should be made of the truffle-lacquered calf sweetbread, the eggplant and snail cannelloni and the vacherin with local figs. À la carte is an endless adventure, always renewed with genius! L'Essentiel retains 1 Michelin star.

Ma compagne et moi somment venu pour la deuxième fois et on s'est régalé ! C est pour nous le meilleur restaurant dans lequel nous ayons mangé.
La cuisine est exceptionnelle et le service très agréable. Le personnel est on ne peux plus sympathique.
Vous pouvez être certains que nous reviendrons lorsqu on passera par Périgueux !

Un accueil chaleureux tout au long du repas, des accords mets et vin parfait, une cuisine raffinée et de qualité avec des associations inattendues (pigeon et dragées) tout cela servi dans un joli petit patio au coeur du vieux Périgueux...Le top !
