Café-brasserie with terrace near the Saint-Front cathedral offering some oysters.

The location of this café/brasserie is exceptional. Close to the Saint-Front cathedral and at the entrance of the rue Salinière which enters the famous rue Limogeanne, it is here that the heart of the old Périgueux beats. And the regulars are not mistaken. The best thing to do is to sit on the terrace on a market day and let yourself be lulled by the whirlwind of stalls and colours. It's like a living painting. If you feel a bit peckish, you'll love having a few oysters.
