A very good address in the heart of Périgueux's historic city center, where you can enjoy refined local cuisine.

Their motto is: "Le troquet au taquet! This is the motivation of the young and bubbly Alicia Nouaillane, mistress of the premises. Here, you'll enjoy fine, modern cuisine prepared exclusively with fresh produce by Chef Fabrice. Space is limited, so book ahead. In summer, the shaded terrace adds another charm to the establishment. You'll come for the "canaille" dishes: oxtail, sweetbreads, kidneys... but also for the comforting, generous desserts like the Troquet-style Tarte tatin with honey pine nut ice cream.

J'ai noté ce restaurant avec un 5 mais il merite un 7 , une gastronomie hors du commun, raffinee aux ingredients frais. Les proprietaires etaient sympathyques, le prix etait tres abordable et les portions plus qu'abondantes mais cela n'empeche pas la qualite surprenante et les ingredients exquis
