Around the multimodal interchange, the creation of the business district, the renovation of the square, the station of Périgueux is embellished.
Even with its square under renovation, you can reach Paris every day: with a change in Limoges (minimum in 4h30) or in Bordeaux to get back to the LGV (or in Libourne for the TGV). You can also opt for the TGV in Angoulême: a shuttle bus ensures 4 frequencies per day, 7 days a week, with a road trip of about 1h30. The Perigueux station is part of a project to create a multimodal hub to facilitate changes in means of transportation and to ensure that cars are left in the garage more often. Developments in progress.
