A committed site

The site of Lascaux IV is a "must-see" in the Périgord, managed by Semitour. It is a property of the Dordogne department and we have, with regard to the delegating authority, a requirement of excellence in all areas. Our environmental policy and the responsible management of purchases allow the daily good functioning of the site.

Similarly, the site has been awarded the Tourism and Handicap label in order to provide an optimal welcome for all visitors. The label was awarded to the site in 2019. The facsimile is designed in the heart of an innovative building to promote optimal control of energy consumption.

Our tourism activity must integrate the issues related to sustainable development.

LASCAUX is committed to this approach and offers our visitors important quality guarantees for their visit as well as a store with local products. A bicycle parking is available on our site. The city of Montignac has an electric bike rental service. Finally, in order to reduce the ecological impact, we advise to favor carpooling. We are at the heart of the approaches initiated by the Region, the Department and the two communities of communes (Terrassonnais en Périgord Noir and La Vallée de l'Homme). These approaches allow, thanks to a common strategy, actions related to the professionalization, the quality, the innovation and the maintenance of the site.

Lascaux IV fac simili ? du mal a y croire tellement cela colle a la réalité. Quant aux animations annexes bravo c'est à tomber sur le .... J'ai passé un moment inoubliable. A 78 ans j'ai visité bon nombre de sites mais là chapeau

Un incontournable qui vaut le détour !

La visite guidée de la reconstitution minutieuse de la grotte suivie d'une salle explicative et ludique des différents espaces de la grotte en font un site adapté à tous les publics.

Le site est accessible et de grande qualité !

Me ha encantado la visita a su réplica de la cueva. Muy interesante a parte de muy real y luego al pasar por las aéreas inmersivas y en todo momento con tu audioguia con pantalla para videos incluidos ha sido una experiencia única. C9mer en su cafetería restaurante también me ha gustado su calidad precio.
