Passionate winemakers, David and Matthieu represent the fifth generation of Domaine de Combet, a 19-hectare organic vineyard in Monbazillac. Since 2019, they have been crafting wines that respect the terroir, ranging from reds to mellows, including a natural sparkling wine and an orange wine for connoisseurs. Certified organic since 2021, they advocate pleasure and authenticity. Their cuvées, appreciated by wine merchants and restaurateurs, have even seduced the Élysée wine cellar. Owner's Message
Domaine de Combet is a winegrowing estate on the Monbazillac plateau in the Dordogne, founded in 1893 by the ALEXIS family.
In 2019, David NOTTEGHEM and Matthieu SIMON, both graduates of viticulture and oenology, joined forces to buy Domaine de Combet and write a new page in its history.
Since our arrival at the estate, we've had no shortage of projects or ambitions: converting the estate to organic farming, planting new grape varieties (Chenin, Ugni blanc), sowing green manure between the rows of vines, modernizing the winery and tasting room, and creating new cuvées!
We produce certified organic wines in all colors (white, red, rosé, orange) and for all tastes (dry, sweet, sparkling or not) in Bergerac, Monbazillac and Vin de France appellations.
We market our wines to private individuals, specialized grocery stores, wine merchants and bistronomic/gastronomic restaurants, as well as to the Cave de l'Elysée!
