For a fascinating immersion in Périgord history, there's nothing like a visit to the Grottes du Roc de Cazelle. This listed site reveals the occupation of this cliff from prehistory to the Middle Ages, with faithful reconstructions of troglodytic dwellings. Prehistoric activities and workshops (flint knapping, thruster shooting, fire lighting, painting) are offered in July and August for a total immersion in the world of our ancestors. The Roc de Cazelle caves, with their educational signposting, enable the whole family to understand the evolution of human occupation.

C'est autant intéressant pour les enfants que pour les adultes ( bien mieux que la parc du Thot où il n'y a pas beaucoup d'explications)
