Here everything is local and it is very good. Because a good anchovy or a tourtière périgourdine, it is a small piece of happiness.
Since 2018, Maria and Jean Luc have been cooking up recipes inherited from their grandmothers, using Périgord-raised geese and ducks, local pork and vegetables. You can find their preserves, cured meats and vacuum-packed products on their online store, in their boutique-atelier set up near Maria's house in Le Bugue, or at nearby markets: Saint-Alvère on Mondays, Le Bugue on Tuesdays & Saturdays, Saint-Cyprien on Wednesdays & Sundays, Lalinde on Thursdays, Meyrals on Wednesdays and Saint-Avit-Senieur on Thursday afternoons.
