CASTLE OF JALLANGES
Set in a park of centuries-old trees, the château is built of stone and brick in an elegant checkerboard pattern.
This residence, built around 1480 for Philibert Babou (François I's superintendent of finance), is nestled in magnificent grounds. Château de Jallanges, acquired in 1986, is located 10 minutes from Tours in the heart of the Vouvray vineyards. It offers five top-quality guest rooms, as well as group gîtes with private swimming pools, tennis, billiards and a gym. The château is open to visitors from March to November, and features Renaissance-style gardens, a park with centuries-old trees, the world's largest sculpture dedicated to St. Martin (7mx7m), which in 2022 will be designated a "Work of the Cultural Route of Europe", a 500-seat open-air theater and a sculpture of St. George carved from a three-hundred-year-old cedar. In the arts, Château de Jallanges offers art exhibitions, artist performances throughout the year, concerts and theater performances. Château de Jallanges also offers a wellness area (accessible even without accommodation) with access to the XXL indoor pool, spa, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and sensory shower. Jallanges also offers body treatments, massages and nail services. All year round, the venue can organize receptions, concerts, seminars, fashion shows, weddings and escape games. For years, we've been organizing the "soirée blanche au château" and costume balls. From April 2025, presentation of the "Château des défis", with a 3-hour edutainment trail for families on 10 hectares, including a corn maze.

Although : It is a very nice place for events, weddings and more.
Nevertheless I did not appreciate the room, could have been cleaner, lot of flies and bugs.. the bed was good, the furniture needs refreshment (the bathroom / tub/ taps).
Merci à Stéphane et Lorène.
