As in any city, there are a few institutions in Tours, and Briocherie Lelong is one of them. Open since 1907, it's the only specialist briocherie in France! As you leave the train station, you can smell the mouth-watering aromas wafting from the store, so how can you resist? And the prices don't hold you back. Plain, chocolate chip or Nutella-filled brioche... Here, we know our stuff inside and out! A small shop as we like them, madeleine de Proust for Tourangeaux!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm... this famous bakery (or rather " briocherie" because I do not know person who go there for anything else that these famous buns!), is guided by a delicious smell of brioche leaving the oven, and I must say that even once that here in and the first sun-drenched in the hollow of the puck, asks again! Then, the myth surely offers for much in this famous smell, but what does it matter, you short!
