The Olivier Debré Center for Contemporary Creation presents a dozen temporary exhibitions each year and is one of the key venues for contemporary art in France. Designed by the Aires Mateus brothers in 2016, the building houses 4 large exhibition spaces and allows the public to enjoy several exhibitions in one visit. Conferences, guided tours, workshops for children, and meetings at the art center or in its bookstore allow to enrich the visit in an original way. Programmation on the website.

La Loire à Vélo. Open all year round. Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday nights until 7 p.m. (open Tuesdays, July and August). Free for children under 18. Adults: €8.50. 5.50 € Reduced: jobseekers, RSA, ASS, ASPA, AAH, civic services, students. Conference: €4. Guided tour, + €2 admission charge. Guided tour. Store. Visite exposition "Le Diwan du démon"
des artistes iraniens Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, Hesam Rahmanian.
Très belle exposition, chargée en émotions. Beaucoup de messages transmis par les artistes où chaque spectateur peut y trouver son interprétation.
Mes remerciements à la personne du Centre qui spontanément est venue m'expliquer le contexte de cette exposition et les conditions de vie des artistes.
Je ne suis pas sortie indemne de cette visite. J'envisage la visite commentée le 28 janvier 2024.
Et puis il y a encore beaucoup de choses à voir.
Très heureuse d'avoir découvert ce centre culturel.
