This château is a magnificent showplace! The building spans several historical periods: two towers date from the Middle Ages, and the Pavillon de Mars in the center was built in the 18th century. The governors' residence dates from the 16th century and straddles the ancient Gallo-Roman wall. After serving as a military barracks until the 1960s, the château was turned into a municipal facility to host a variety of exhibitions. Our partnership with the Jeu de Paume allows us to discover unmissable photo exhibitions and a variety of artists (sculptures, paintings...).

Belle architecture du château avec magnolia en fleurs.
Accueil agréable, exposition bien documentée,
C'est une artiste que j'apprécie beaucoup et dont j'ai eu grand plaisir à revoir les photos, grand travail sur les personnes et les émotions.
L’exposition est gratuite pour les moins de 26 ans. C’est fortement apprécié.
En revanche je n’ai pas du tout accroché avec les expositions contemporaines à l’étage. J’ai même été choquée par l’une des œuvres.
J’ai été un samedi et il n’y avait pas foule. Je suis en revanche très déçue d’être obligée de me garer sur un parking payant…
