From gastronomy to painting, Marcotte has found his niche: his relief paintings in original materials convey emotion.

Marc Bertin, aka Marcotte, has had a rather atypical career. Initially devoted to the world of gastronomy, he gradually let his creativity slip into that of painting, where he now flourishes. His technique is unique: in addition to the traditional painter's tools (brushes), he works with a palette knife and spatula, combined with multiple fibers in accumulated form. Each fiber is painted or raw and resinated. A beautiful vibratory emotion.
