Take advantage of the ideal location of La Mère Hamard to discover the castles of the Loire Valley such as Amboise, Chenonceau or Blois. It is very easy to go all around Semblançay to follow the Loire and enjoy all its treasures.
You can also stop by our gastronomic restaurant. On the menu: regional and seasonal products cooked in a traditional way, to be tasted in the dining room or on the terrace.
La Mère Hamard was founded at the beginning of the last century. This traditional house, combining the art of entertaining and family values, is a very pleasant stopover during your stay in Touraine.

The restaurant was a great experience, with tasty dishes and excellent service. The prices were a bit steep for not too big portions, but there are no similar calibre restaurants nearby, so it is OK.
The hotel on the other side will definitely need some TLC. The rooms are a bit dated and small. The shower was also not great. At least the place and the rooms are quiet.
