Set of caves, the was discovered in 1547, with stalactites and stalagmites, a reconstruction like a Jurassic Park.
Less than 15 minutes from Tours and 5 minutes from Villandry castle, these caves were discovered by Bernard Palissy in 1547. You will discover stalactites, stalagmites and other petrifying waterfalls that have been formed for millions of years and that offer a strange curiosity of nature. In the second cave, there is a reconstruction of the prehistoric fauna of the primary and secondary eras, for an atmosphere of Jurassic Park in the Touraine. Remember to cover up, as it is only 14°C inside the cave.

Visite en groupe par autocariste, visite intéressante mais entre les dinosaures et les objets en petrification pour le magasin, seule la surprise du bout de la grotte Gilles apporte un plus. A faire s'il reste de l'énergie après le château jouxtant.
