Castle with underground passage, a chapel housing the Holy Thorn, a rampart, gardens, terraces and walls with climbing roses.

Perched high above the valley, Château de Montréal blends medieval heritage with Renaissance elegance. It houses the precious Holy Thorn, and features three rooms in a variety of styles, an unusual chapel and an underground passage accessible by a monumental staircase. The enchanting park, with its bower, formal gardens and climbing roses, is an invitation to stroll. Out of season, readings and events punctuate the life of the château, witness to a fascinating history.
