The castle of Montrésor, property of the Branicki family, offers a beautiful panorama on one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.

From its rocky pedestal, the castle of Montrésor dominates the village. Its construction began in 1005 by order of Foulques Nerra, Count of Anjou. A Renaissance castle of which only the main wing remains. Since 1849, it has been the property of the Branicki family. Beautifully decorated and furnished interior, with works of art and a magnificent mahogany spiral staircase. It also offers a beautiful view of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France and a romantic park. A second visit dedicated to "Poland in the castle of Montrésor" is possible on reservation.

Château très axé sur la chasse. Situé dans un des beaux villages de France , il est impératif de prendre le temps de faire tout le tour du château avec une vue magnifique du bas sur le château, et le parc du bas invite à la détente.

Très belle surprise de ce château découvert un peu par hasard. La personne de l’accueil est très gentille et souriante. Il y a qu’une partie du château qui se visite car l’autre est encore habitée. Il y a de belles représentations dans le château avec de nombreuses explications. Les jardins sont petits mais quand même bien entretenus et fleuris contrairement à d’autres commentaires que j’ai pu voir. Parking gratuit en bas du château. La durée moyenne de la visite est de 1h/1h30
