Located in Montrésor, 4 km from the town of Loches, Château-monastère de la Corroirie is a picturesque hotel set in 150 hectares of wooded grounds. It houses a church dating back to 1208 and offers 5 period rooms with medieval decor, exposed wooden beams and private bathrooms. Some rooms offer views of the forest or garden. Continental breakfast is included and can be served in a cosy lounge or in the garden. There's also a church, a dining room, a jogging track and a swimming and fishing pond. Dinner and guided tours are available at an additional cost. The castle-monastery tourist and cultural site is open from Easter to All Saints' Day, from 11am to 7pm.

Magic place in the middle of Loire Valley that takes you back to different times. The all collection of buildings forming the former Carthusian medieval monastery is exceptional. We stayed in the Cardinal room , slept in a very conformable large bed , surrounded by beautiful antique furnitures and the serene view of the garden . The close village of Loches is also a gem .Highly recommended as your base if you visit the area .

Venez séjourner dans ce château afin d'y passer un merveilleux moment. Une nuit passée en octobre 24 dans une agreable chambre ,décorée avec goût. Jeff vous accueille simplement, gentiment et vous conte,si vous lui demandez ,l'histoire de ces lieux magiques.N oubliez pas de déguster et d'acheter le délicieux miel produit sur place

Visite libre avec un document.Personne ne vous accueille ,pour rentrer il faut mettre 3€dans une boîte et prendre le document pour la visite. J'ai bien peur que les gens ne laissent pas de pièces.
