Located in Montrésor, 4 km from the town of Loches, Château-monastère de la Corroirie is a picturesque hotel set in 150 hectares of wooded grounds. It houses a church dating back to 1208 and offers 5 period rooms with medieval decor, exposed wooden beams and private bathrooms. Some rooms offer views of the forest or garden. Continental breakfast is included and can be served in a cosy lounge or in the garden. There's also a church, a dining room, a jogging track and a swimming and fishing pond. Dinner and guided tours are available at an additional cost. The castle-monastery tourist and cultural site is open from Easter to All Saints' Day, from 11am to 7pm.

Un petit bijou. Une chambre très confortable et plus que vaste. La salle de bain avec baignoire et douche à l’italienne dignes d’une telle chambre. Ce fut un grand plaisir de venir faire une halte à la Corroirie, lieu chargé d’histoire.|On reviendra. Merci Monsieur de Mareuil de nous proposer ce genre de pépite à un prix très raisonnable.

Quel plaisir d'avoir pu loger dans cet édifice baigné de tant d'Histoire !il y règne une atmosphère moyenageuse que votre imagination embellira. Excellent choix de literie, délicieux petit déjeuner (chèvre, pain et croissant).Lieu calme,paisible, verdoyant. Bref,entièrement satisfait. Anne Sophie et dominique.

This is a lovely chateau a couple of kilometres out of Montrésor. We were passing through this gorgeous little village and wanted somewhere quaint to stay. Chateau-monastère de La Corroirie could be a great place to stay but needs some TLC. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms are clean but the communal kitchen is grubby and not very well fit out. We couldn’t find bowls, the cutlery is limited, the cooking options are limited. The surrounding gardens are overgrown which is shame because it wouldn’t take too much work to give it a clean up. Don’t rule it out as a place to stay but if you need to prepare food just bear that in mind.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. le lieu est magnifique et décoré avec goût. Le propriétaire est accueillant et nous a préparé un petit déjeuner royal.

Un lieu avec une âme toute particulière : un voyage dans le temps mais avec tout le confort moderne.
Pour combler le tout, Jeff offre un accueil chaleureux et simple tout comme son délicieux petit déjeuner.
N’hésitez pas à venir séjourner plusieurs nuits dans ce lieu unique qui a su conserver une belle partie de sa magie originelle.
