Between the campsite and the guinguette of Chinon, you have a large grassy area to relax and picnic and especially enjoy one of the most beautiful views on the Royal Fortress of Chinon. An ideal spot to eat on the grass with family or friends while watching the Vienne river flow by. It's a very popular site with the locals and we understand them! In summer, when the sun sets on the fortress, it is really magical. You even have toilets on the spot.
