Chapel that was once a pagan place, whose water from the well in the rock would have helped to heal the eyes, decorated with frescoes.
Originally, this semi-troglodytic site was a very popular pagan place. According to popular belief, it seemed that the water from the well dug in the rock could cure the eyes when it was drawn on Saint John's day. Subsequently and at different times, the Romanesque chapel was built in the 12th, 17th and 19th centuries by Christians around the tomb of a hermit from the early Middle Ages. It is decorated with very beautiful frescoes and wall paintings.

Des maisons troglodytes le long du chemin, certaines en bon état.
Il faut la mériter cette chapelle, une grande montée depuis le centre ville et nous voilà sur un lieu magique qui domine la ville et les vignes.
Dommage qu'une partie soit effondrée.
