The decor is refined with baroque accents. Each room has its own balcony so you can enjoy the view of the castle. The train station is a 15 minute walk away. If you come by car, you can park in the free public parking lot right across the street.

Le personnel est très sympathique. La situation est très bien aussi, proche de la forteresse. Par contre, la chambre est au chausse-pied (moins de 15m2), la salle d’eau lilliputienne avec des wc dont le dérouleur de pq est sous le lave-mains ; contorsion obligatoire et difficile. Un robinet thermostatique dans la douche serait un plus et laisserait plus de place, en outre cela régulerait les variations de température d’eau. La climatisation est bruyante et y’a de la vie sur la place qui est sous la fenêtre. le petit déjeuner est bien et la terrasse privative est juste magnifique. Conclusion : c’est trop juste pour un 3*.

Une fois encore nous nous réjouissons d’avoir fait ce choix d’un Best Western. Tout y était: l’emplacement donnant sur la plus jolie petite place de Chinon, le confort de la chambre, le sourire du personnel, et sa serviabilité : nous avons demandé à mettre les packs de notre glacière au congélateur de l’hôtel, et cela a été fait très gentiment.

Nice hotel with rooms with balconies right onto a central place with bars and restaurants. No noise at night as this is a fairly small town. Were able to store our bikes in their garage, plus there is a safe space for luggage service. Thank you.

Bonne situation dans le centre de Chinon. Parking municipal payant à proximité. Réceptionniste accueillante et agréable, mais peu présente. Pas de réceptionniste après 21 h00.
A surtout l'avantage d'exister dans cette ville où l'on trouve difficilement un hébergement de standing.
