L'Ardoise is a good address for epicureans: bistronomic cuisine based on fresh, high-quality produce. We're never disappointed by the menu, which is designed to suit all tastes. The dishes are original, mouth-watering and reasonably priced. Pollock carpaccio, smoked salmon waffle, sweetbreads, salt-crusted duck breast. The plates are copious and prepared almost in front of us. No fewer than 300 wine references. For whisky lovers, a fine range is carefully selected by the manager.

Excellente viande, grand choix de viande maturée service sympa mais débordé. Musique trop forte et décoration un peu bric a brac.

I arrived at the location looking forward for a nice meal, at least this is what I was expecting from the reviews, and the waiter told me they are full, even though I could see at least 2 free tables, one of them which opened up as we entered the restaurant. Was it because we didnt speak french ? ..
L.E. that was the problem, it was a waitress, not a waiter, that is the attitude every costumer should expect, the owner is always right, right ?. Instead of actually giving me a straight answer why that happened, the problem is that I said waiter instead of waitress. From your answer, I think it's better that you didnt have any free tables, we probably even ate better at the restaurant next door.
