Monuments to visit Nogent-Le-Rotrou

In 1624, Maximilian of Béthune, duke of Sully, became seigneur de Nogent. Before he dies, he wishes to be buried in the chapel of the Hotel-Dieu. Protestant, there was no access to his request. His grave therefore took place in the rotunda near the church. It was Alois Boudin who executed the statue the representative.
