The Marx Dormoy swimming pool is living its last hours. The city hall has announced the closure of the only Olympic pool in Lille in 2025. Old, too expensive to maintain, it will probably be replaced by an aquatic complex including an Olympic pool which should be built in the Saint-Sauveur district. In the meantime, one should not expect much from this infrastructure at the end of its life. Regularly closed for renovation work and often too busy, the Bois-Blancs pool has the merit of offering a wide choice of activities.

The water is hot but small flat it is quite outdated in particular the changing rooms; a renovation would have to be considered.
However, the prices are very affordable especially for the inhabitants of Lille.
Also think about taking sandals not to slip because there are stairs to reach the swimming pool.
