Between local cuisine and entertainment in a restaurant with a terrace near the banks of the Deûle
Since the summer of 2016, the famous Guinguette de la Marine has changed owners. A brushstroke here, a new decoration there, and here is a brand new place that has lost nothing of its original soul. The young owners want to keep the "guinguette" spirit with the organization of balls and other open stages. In the kitchen, we find local dishes simply cooked and served in more than generous portions. It's good and no fuss. But the real plus of the place is of course its terrace, which is stormed as soon as the sun comes back. Not far from the banks of the Deûle, you feel like you're outside the city. A friendly and very lively address.

nos plats sont arrivés en temps et en heure, pile poile pour le feu d’artifice
merci la guinguette !
Ça commence par le serveur qui lors de notre commande nous dit gentiement « vous êtes 2000 personnes à appeler » avec un air hautain. Si je peux me permettre il n’y avait pas 2000 personnes.
Et quand on demande une carafe d’eau, nous avons le droit à « la carafe d’eau c’est quand j’ai le temps »
Supplément repas froid à fuir !!!!

La terrasse coupée en 2 par la rue avec quelques tables de l'autre côté du chemin de déambulation (j'ai un peu le sentiment de perturber les sportifs)
et le rapport prix quantité, qui m'a fait oublié que j'étais dans le Nord et m'a donné le sentiment d'être sur Paris.
Je recommande quand même cet établissement pour sa qualité et sa terrasse ensoleillée.
