Seasonal cuisine and the best burgers in Lille in a bar-restaurant with terrace.
A little away from the bustle of the city center, not far from the Saint-Sauveur train station, the Mother is a nice place for a beer-burger night with friends. Inside, we discover an industrial and rough decoration: steel structures and bricks. The place is big and becomes quite noisy when the tables fill up... and even more so on soccer or rugby game nights! The menu proposes in particular boards and home-made fries, to share or not. The choice of burgers is often renewed but always of very good quality.

Très déçu
J'étais resté sur le souvenir d'un brunch copieux et gourmand. C'est fini. Plus de gâteaux maison, quiches ou autres... Il faut choisir une combinaison de 3 plats dans une liste. Comprend une boisson froide et une chaude et on a le droit à un bout de pain et un petit pain au chocolat pour deux (un petit bout de pain à couper en deux pour le fromage, la charcut...et un demi petit pain pour un brunch... Mouaich...). La tartine de saumon que j'ai choisie est franchement loin de leur appellation de "dinguerie".
L'argument commercial est que les produits sont de meilleur qualité...mais ça m'allait parfaitement avant!!! C'était copieux, gourmand, convivial et bon!!!... Bon oui. C'était avant.
L'accueil de l'équipe est agréable ainsi que le cadre mais la carte n'a plus ce qu'il faut pour me donner envie d'y retourner ni de le recommander.

Dimanche midi, c'est brunch ! Et quoi de mieux que d'aller au mother avec les copains pour savourer le super buffet ?! Le remède à tous les maux, c'est le Brunch du mother !

Je déconseille fortement le mother pour aller manger. Une attente de plus de 45mins pour une table de 6 personnes pour 2 Welsh et un burger servit froid. En plus de ça, un service déplorable. Dommage car le cadre est plutôt sympathique.

I'LL COME BACK NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Where to start? My friends and me expected 15min just have the menu (brought by a waitress which gave a death rattle because I had to call it 3 TIMES!) Then we waited over an hour to be served (while the other tables around us were served more quickly) and I had limit go for the water carafe me even at the bar!
Side puffs, the mother burger doesn't really have anything exceptional and is awfully dry (surely encourage consume drinks) and the welsh does not really have any taste!
Basically a " restaurant" avoid!
