Restaurant with terrace on the Grand Place offering good fries and various dishes

Located in the heart of Lille, on the Grand Place and just next to the Old Lille, the location is ideal. For a break or a complete meal, the Peacock welcomes you with open arms. The atmosphere is friendly. The menu is traditional and regional. You will find in particular: good fries, meat and fish, homemade smoked salmon, hot dogs, croque-monsieur.... The daily suggestions enrich the menu according to the arrivals. On the menu, you will also find a beautiful choice of wines, carefully selected by the owner. A terrace is heated for smokers. The best part: the Peacock d'Or stays open late if you have a late craving.

Came in last Sunday evening. The food was fine, staff was nice enough- atmosphere was chill, the mice were very annoying and the staff was indifferent about it.

Martini caldi, salmone affumicato con tre pezzetti di toast, senza burro ne una salsina in un sottopiattino da tazza da cappuccino. La bistecca di Cavallo era.....una vergogna. Le crocchette di gamberi avevano una eccellente panatura, ma il ripieno era
Desolante. Il vino in bottiglia
Non era più disponibile, al suo posto ci hanno rifilato
Una brodaglia inbevibile.
L'unica cosa decente va la terrina potjevleesch
Le patatine erano penose.
Il servizio sembra abituato a ritirare piatti e bichieri pieni.
Posso solo vivamente sconsigliarlo.

Une brasserie comme une autre rien d'exceptionnel.J'ai demandé une viande saignante,je me retrouve avec une viande trop cuite dure comme une semelle de chaussure.
