Thai cuisine with western accents by Vithaya Phanouvong in a restaurant with terrace in Lille.

Created 15 years ago by Jérôme Ledin, Meet People is a unifying restaurant that brings together flavours and gourmands. We understand his name better now! The idea of Jérôme Ledin, and his chef Vithaya Phanouvong, is to bring traditional Thai cuisine into dialogue with Western cuisine and thus offer dishes that are delightfully surprising... and adapted to the palates of the less adventurous. On the menu, therefore, are excellent pad thai, perfectly cooked fish fillets or the famous green curries. Set on three floors with a terrace, a bay window overlooking the Old Town and a pretty vaulted cellar, the Meet People is a very nice address.

Sans conteste un des meilleurs restos thaï de Lille, votre poulet au curry est très léger et laisse ressortir plein de saveurs. On revient toujours avec plaisir.

Cadre sympathique surtout à l'étage. Très bons plats mais attention au niveau du piment, demander au serveur car sur la carte les annotations sont erronées.

Restaurant agréable, une carte dense, le restaurant se présente comme thaïlandais mais on trouvera un peu de Vietnam aussi. La cuisine est bonne ! J'ai essayé le tigre qui pleure, la viande très bonne ainsi que l'accompagnement, la sauce manquait un peu de piquant malgré les "deux piments" à la carte. Le prix est peut-être un peu élevé également.
