Restaurant in Lille to enjoy the gastronomy of the North at a good value for money.
Le Bistrot Lillois is undoubtedly a fine example of a Northern estaminet. The menu, designed by Pierre Dewailly, sets the tone with its chapter headings written in local dialect! On the menu, dishes that pay homage to the region: shrimp croquettes, French toast with brown sugar, Flemish carbonnade...served with a smile from the owners. The decor is just as relaxed, with old-fashioned family furniture and dried hops hanging from the ceiling mingling with tiled walls, testimony to the restaurant's past as a butcher's shop. A very good address at a reasonable price.

Super restaurant, beaucoup de choix sur la carte avec des plats de qualité. J’ai pris une salade qui était bien bourrative. Service rapide, bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande.

Mayo industrielle, Welsh très moyen, pas digne des estaminets de la fameuse rue de Gand

Très bon restaurant typique situé en plein coeur du Vieux Lille. Nous avons pu manger des spécialités lilloises dont un Welsh et une Carbonnade, les 2 plats étaient très bons et à prix très correct.
