You'll feel right at home in this chiringuito serving tapas and pintxos, beers, cocktails and delicious fruit juices. Eclectic and relaxed, Hola Ola has many faces. The place is sometimes transformed into a night club, sometimes into an open-air concert hall with piano concerts or flamenco cantaor , sometimes into a projection room.

The Calma Calma, which the inhabitants of the island call Its Calma, is a glass block installed in the marina of Botafoc, just behind the Lio. We come here both for breakfast and lunch at noon, but it is at dusk that the terrace takes its full meaning and that the bistro fills itself: you can enjoy, glass by hand, the sliding reflections of the sun on the Dalt Villa walls, just opposite. The Lío is the trendy restaurant-cabaret in Ibiza. Glamorous, sexy, glittering, the musical show is amazing and very well done, worn by professional singers and dancers. Unique of its kind, S'Escalinata is located along an ancient staircase of Dalt Villa. You can come here at any time of the day to regain your strength with a solid tropical fruit smoothie or a salad/sandwich or tapas combo, but also for the very good cocktails lovingly prepared when the sun goes down. The originality of the place lies in the fact that gigantic footstools are spread out along the thick and wide steps of the stairs, leaving the guests free to indulge in the healthy practice of chill outdoors. Born from the ashes of Teatro Pereyra, a real institution of live music in central Eivissa, Petit Pereyra is located in a small street in Talamanca and, a priori, does not look like much. A pretty covered garden furnished with tropical plants where wooden tables are lined up. We eat a simple and well prepared cuisine while sipping beers and cocktails. When you go to the toilet, if you listen carefully, the powerful layers of electronic or disco music capture your attention. To go further, like an American speakeasy, all you have to do is push the door to the back of the small room to join a brand new little club with a DJ, equipped with hi-fi equipment and state-of-the-art lighting. It should be noted that Le Petit Pereyra is one of the only establishments to have a night licence in winter, attracting night owls every night of the year.

It took over the premises of Space, Ibiza's iconic techno club that closed its doors, to open its own in summer 2017. It is the Hï, installed just opposite its big brother Ushuaïa, and is to date the newest nightclub on the island. On the program: quality electronic music, carried as well by headliners of the night world as by more underground DJs. For the summer, some parties are already on the program: F***Me I'm Famous! on Friday, Black Coffee on Saturday and Glitterbox on Sunday.

You won't miss the superb terrace of this bar, which offers a magnificent view of the city and the citadel. This "wine house" run by Laurent, a passionate wine lover and seasoned professional (he worked in Germany, France and Ibiza before moving to Mallorca) will delight wine lovers. The shelves of his pretty shop are overflowing with French, Majorcan, South African and Italian wines, including a superb selection of Bordeaux grands crus (Laurent is originally from Bordeaux, a wine region par excellence!). Named after a John Milton poem, this rum shop is perhaps the best in the gypsy district. With its air of a ship's hold, its shelves overflowing with bottles with famous labels, Paradise Lost has something of the pirate tavern, with a touch of old town fancy . You can sip splendid long drinks, cocktails and other pints of cold beer on the small terrace overlooking an alleyway away from the touristy passages or in the warmly arranged and dimly lit room. Nice atmosphere!

Located opposite the fish market, C'an Rafa is the ideal place to have breakfast, read the paper and watch the hustle and bustle of the market, with its stalls, vendors and picturesque atmosphere. A discreet place with an elusive charm, frequented by the local population. It's up to you to try the delicious "tomàtiga" bread or a good ensaimada. For more robust appetites, the house offers copious and inexpensive typical plates, sandwiches and salads.

A small, unpretentious bar with a terrace on the sand. Ideal for offrir after a day of beach. Local atmosphere and nice. 

Opened about fifteen years ago by two partners, Fernando and Miguel, La Bodega is both a bar-lounge and a tapas restaurant, all with an extravagant and neat decoration. The tapas are excellent (the great Spanish classics - the pulpo a la gallega is very good - as well as more international proposals), but one will come to this bodega especially to offer a cocktail in a rather glamorous atmosphere. There are a few tables outside, but the interior decoration of the bar is worth a visit

The CatsMusics Jazz Club is a small, discreetly illuminated storefront in the village of Santa Maria del Camí (ten minutes' drive from Binissalem), open from early evening until midnight and where, you guessed it, jazz is king. Two interlocking rooms, richly decorated with instruments and old amplifiers, are the setting for concerts and jams of fairly high quality live music. The program changes from day to day, but the good mood is always there! A quality night-time address.

The aptly named Dolcevite Vinoteca is the ultimate wine bar! Located right in the center of town, the cozy little premises occupy a corner of the street and are the perfect stop-off for a toast to jazzy music. In store, an impressive collection of local and Spanish wines, as well as more exotic and select labels! You can also accompany your tasting with a few well-made bruschettas from a variety of recipes. In short, an elegant little counter that will delight discerning palates.

The location couldn't be better - at the foot of the Cap d'Artrutx lighthouse - for this beach club renowned for its panoramic sea views and chill-out atmosphere. The menu features wines, cocktails, a selection of tapas and Mediterranean dishes based on local products and Km0 (octopus, Bellota ham, red tuna tartare, Menorcan beef carpaccio, cod à la minorquine...). Reservations are essential for a chance to admire the sunset from its spacious terrace. Not exactly cheap, but the setting is magical!

5 Océanos Chill Out is a restaurant with a youthful, relaxed atmosphere, very popular in the port of Alcúdia. It has two terraces distributed around the central cabana/kitchen, furnished with colorful armchairs and sofas covered in cushions... Music is one of the basic ingredients at 5 Océanos, as is the bar, which offers some pretty good cocktails. Perfect for a drink or a plate of well-made tapas with a sunbath at any time of day, or in the evening for a more festive atmosphere. Restau 5 arroces opposite.

With its long love affair with horses, Menorca would not be Menorca without a racecourse and horse racing. The municipal racecourse in Maó (the other being in Ciutadella, known as the Torre del Ram racecourse) is the place to go for top-quality equestrian performances, such as the trotting races, held every Friday at 8.15pm during the summer months and every Sunday at 11.30am during the winter months! An original outing in a local and sporting atmosphere!

Ses Palmeras is a small, simple bar with a pleasant terrace overlooking the Plaza Colom, in the shade of the palm trees (hence the name). It is run by Roberto, a friendly Italian expatriate in Menorca. You can stop here for a good breakfast, a solid meal based on homemade dishes at noon, consider an ice-cream cone in the afternoon, or have a drink between dog and wolf. It is worth noting that we tasted the best cappuccino in Maó at Ses Palmeras!

Nestled in the narrow streets of the Marina, almost hidden (no sign will tell you that you have arrived), the Boodiou is a small address as we like them. Tony, the French owner, runs the shop with passion, taking care of his guests from the aperitif to the digestif. On the menu, there are some very good dishes halfway between French cuisine and Iberian specialities, while behind the counter, cocktails with fine recipes are prepared. Note that the local prepares its own hierbas ibicencas.

A must if you're passing through the port area, the Maó casino is the meeting place for all lovers of one-armed bandits and other slot machines in eastern Minorca! This modern, comfortable establishment is set in very pleasant surroundings overlooking the bay, not to mention the panoramic terrace suspended above the sea! In addition to the casino classics (including blackjack tables), there are also poker rooms for aficionados! In short, it's a place to visit with friends on occasion.

Nestled in the Palau Salort, this cocktail bar specializing in gin is the perfect place for a romantic stopover in the old town. Tapas and dishes are served in the elegant setting of a former ^17th-century Menorcan palace. On the menu: a platter of Menorcan cheeses, grilled scallops with garlic and parsley, red tuna tataki with pistachio, salmon ceviche with mango... as well as signature cocktails created by barman Alessandro Bellone. You can also enjoy a delicious brunch!

At the foot of the cathedral, between a tea room and a fashion boutique, Mònica Colomar invites you to discover her world of elegance. From Paris to Japan, she selects her pieces with taste. Fluid clothes, shoes, jewelry, wicker bags and decorative objects (cups, teapots, plates...) are displayed on the shelves, while the charming old-fashioned tea room invites you to indulge in a pastry or a good cup of coffee. You can also take a pleasant break on one of the chairs set out on the cobblestones.

Bandidu is THE meeting place for locals on the port. Set in a former warehouse with brick walls, the décor is reminiscent of a 1960s American pub, with an arty rock feel. The single, huge service room, with the vast island bar at its center, is made up of a collection of different, warm spaces. At the end of the day, you'll find yourself at Bandidu for a cocktail or a beer, but also for a few solid, well-made snacks that aren't necessarily super-healthy. Live music and dance floor.

This modern beach club, set in a grotto a stone's throw from the sand on Santandria beach, is a popular spot at sunset. Here, you can sip delicate cocktails while listening to live music... it's the perfect way to feel like you're on vacation! There's also a "travelling cuisine" menu, so you can take a trip around the world. If you've got a sweet tooth, try one of their homemade desserts. We especially recommend it for a drink if you're in the area.
