This tortillería (tortilla bar) is as small as it is new in the Maó landscape! From a tiny counter in the town's old center, a mother and daughter, both Madrilenians, prepare splendid, tasty tortillas with a smile! Eggs, potatoes and a good dose of know-how are the main ingredients. But you can also enjoy tapas, croquetes and other simple dishes prepared with great care! An address worth discovering!

Sa Factoria des Baixa is a place that aims to be a little canaille, a little popular, but above all an address where people come to have a good time! In a vast, luminous service room with a contemporary, industrial decor, you come to be surprised, to discover new sensations! Preparations are particularly creative, oscillating between the great Mediterranean classics and more global cuisine. A complete, affordable lunch menu is also available on weekdays.

Downstairs from the hotel of the same name, the Loar restaurant can seat up to 150 people and is open to non-residents of the hotel, which is rather good news given the excellent value for money of the cuisine served. Menorcan specialities are offered on the two menus (daily and special) as well as à la carte: oliaigo (local soup), albergínies farcides (stuffed eggplants ), calamar farcit (stuffed squid) and caldereta de llagosta (lobster stew). A warm, traditional, local address.

This historic restaurant, well known to Menorcan locals in this part of the island, located near the Biniancolla urbanization, was renovated and reopened in summer 2021. Set against a backdrop of breathtaking sea views, the restaurant serves typical, high-quality cuisine based on the island's rice, fish and meats. The end-of-the-world ambience, with the constant motion of the waves crashing against the sand, creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Don't forget to save some space for desserts! A classic that's back on the scene!

This is Menorca's first boutique hotel, often cited in the international press, launched in 1998 by Sheelagh-Lindsay Ratliff-Mullen, an English fashion designer (who died in 2023) who transformed an old ^17th-century farmhouse into a haven of peace in pure Mediterranean style. The garden is superb, the interiors of both the hotel and its 18 rooms are rustic in style, and the restaurant is most romantic. The swimming pool and terrace, set under the pergola, are a delight.

Tapas and cocktails with a sea view: that's what La Frañola offers, a fairly recent addition to the landscape of the fishing village of Fornells, having only been open since spring 2022. The owners' plan? To create a pleasant, welcoming space in which to cultivate this culture of sharing around creative tapas and a good glass of wine (or cocktail, for those who like them). The menu is short, the produce is fresh, the sunsets splendid... All that's left is to wish La Frañola the best of luck!

A new project from chef Pere Pons, Es Racó de Macaret is a restaurant and gastrobar located in one of Menorca's most charming coastal areas: Na Macaret, on the north coast. At lunchtime, it's usually a traditional arroç served with fish, seafood and local vegetables (5 or 6 courses complete the menu if rice doesn't appeal to you). In the evening, it's time for tapas, portions to share that are as varied as they are delicious! In short, an authentic Mediterranean address with flavors full of character.
