It is ideally located just behind the Ayala shopping mall, in the heart of Cebu's financial district. Guests have access to a health club, spa, tennis court, international restaurant (weekend buffets) and swimming pool with its own bar for cocktails and tapas. An excellent address.

At the end of the city, close to the airport. Impersonal establishment, but there are many services and there is a swimming pool. Wi-Fi connection. The restaurant serves good cuisine.

Basic rooms, an alternative if there is no room for the Pension Bacolod.

The Esperanza Hotel is well located, but it's not the best value for money in the city. In trouble.

This small family hotel, whose owner Patrick is French, is particularly pleasant. Sixteen bungalows with sober decoration, all comfort, cable TV, Wi-Fi connection and view of the garden or sea, which surrounds a large swimming pool with a distance from the island of Apo. The rooms are impeccable, the details have been cared for in the example of each bathroom overlooking a small garden. The restaurant is also one of the best tables on the island. All excursions are offered on Negros and Apo Island. An excellent address.

With its yellow and green facade, this hotel of 110 rooms does not pass unnoticed. It is part of a chain of budget hotels in the Philippines. The address attracts many travelers for its clean rooms and its location, two kilometers from the Negros Museum and the cathedral. The included breakfast and customer service are very good. Note that the superior rooms have recently been renovated and the price difference is not huge (please note). Quality services for an economical establishment.

An eco-friendly hostel located just a few minutes walk from the white sands of Alona Beach. The first of its kind in the area, it caters to budget-conscious travelers who don't want to give up the comfort of a nice, clean bed after a day of adventure. Mixed, women's or curtained dorms(pods). On-site basic breakfast, clean showers, wifi, air conditioning and drinking water. All this for a very reasonable price without equivalent. Close to restaurants and bars that will suit everyone's taste.

Both rooms and dormitories are clean and comfortable. There's also a small swimming pool and a free shuttle to the Island City Mall. Staying at this small hotel also means doing a good deed, as the establishment is run by the International Deaf Education Association: all proceeds go towards the education of deaf children in Bohol, and the association also provides work for hearing-impaired adults, as there are around twenty of them on the staff, who are also adorable.

A successful stay guaranteed in this bucolic oasis in the city. The beautiful property, which brilliantly blends old-world charm, Hispanic heritage and modernity, is surrounded by four hectares of lush gardens and two swimming pools. The rooms are a little old-fashioned (or kitsch?), but at the same time cosy and comfortable. We also appreciate the helpfulness of the staff. A special mention for the breakfast buffet, which will delight even the most demanding gourmets! A serene address in the heart of bustling Cebu.

It is the only accommodation present on the island. It is a bit old and not very well maintained but if you want to spend a night on the island, you will have no choice. The passage of the typhoon Odette in December 2021 will not have helped. On the other hand, everything is very calm... and you will have a front row seat to explore the island's famous sea beds. You will be able to train or improve your skills directly at the adjoining diving center.

Located on the sublime Kangopi creek, it is a real little corner of paradise. The comfort is basic but the setting will make you forget the lack of hot water. The food is very good (count 300 to 400 PHP for a meal) and the rooms are perfect to enjoy 100% of the magic of Apo Island. Of course this small resort can organize all your nautical activities: banca rental, snorkeling equipment rental and organization of stays combining diving and lazing around. An excellent address, cut off from the world!
