The seventh-largest airport in the United States, it is located 25 km south of the city and has two terminals, one domestic and one international. Beyond the Rental Car Center (to rent a car), there are several options for getting downtown: a strong preference for BART, the equivalent of the Parisian RER, which is easy to take, inexpensive and fast, taking you to Downtown and then Oakland. Other options include cabs or VTCs (Lyft or Uber), private shuttles or shared minibuses.

Traffic is limited to private planes and shuttles to Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resorts. The Furnece Creek Gas Station is less than a three-minute drive away. The station is open 24 hours a day. It is good to know that being in California and especially in the middle of the desert, gas prices are high. The airport is also very close to various accommodations such as Furnece Creek Campground and Sunset Campground. Finally, for golf lovers, a golf course is also located a few minutes away.
