WASHINGTON ISLAND FERRY

Departures are more sporadic during the other months of the year, but whatever happens, there are connections every day. Remember to keep an eye on the time of the last boat, otherwise you'll have to play Robinson Crusoe and stay on the island. Don't worry, there's a campsite. It is possible to travel with a vehicle, which costs a small supplement.

During the summer season, there are three round trips per day (departures at 6:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. from Milwaukee), and two in the spring and fall (departures at 6:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from Milwaukee). The return trip is about half the price of the outbound trip if you order both at the same time.
