Here you are in the oldest open-air market in the country! Rain, shine or shine, the Haymarket vendors are loyal to the post every Friday and Saturday, starting at dawn! Of course, it is much more pleasant to stroll between the stalls of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, cheese and fish when the sun is shining. Note that the products sold here are often grown locally, but also that they are usually two to three times cheaper than similar products sold in supermarkets.

This is a small weekly grocery store, like they have all over the United States. You will find products from the surrounding farms: fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, but also, sometimes, honey and farm eggs. The market is held every Saturday during the good season, usually from the end of May to the end of October. Make a stop there to stock up on fresh produce or to take the pulse of the town! Very bohemian atmosphere.
