Vicenza and its Palladian villas have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. The historic heart of the city comprises 23 monuments and 3 villas, located just on the outskirts. In 1996, Unesco added a further 21 Palladian villas, inspired by the architect Andrea Palladio, to this unique heritage. These Renaissance treasures are now part of the region's tourist routes: Palladian Routes offers a variety of guided tours and itineraries lasting one, two or three days, on foot, by van or by e-bike.
