Read moreATAF's orange buses are no more. Since 2021, the Autolinee Toscane (AT) group has been managing bus routes in the Florentine metropolitan area. But don't worry, all timetables and services remain unchanged. You can buy a ticket(biglietto) at newsagents and tobacconists, or at the AT stand in the SMN station, or directly online. Don't forget to punch your ticket (checks are frequent, and fines of around 50 euros can be imposed)!

Read moreThe bus company Autolinee Toscana (AT) operates several regular routes in the center of Portoferraio, as well as extra-urban routes: no. 116 (Portoferraio - Marciana Marina - Pomonte - Marina di Campo), no. 117 (Portoferraio - Porto Azzurro - Rio Elba - Rio Marina - Cavo), and no. 118 (Portoferraio - Bagnaia - Lacona) Departures are generally regular, but frankly, it is difficult to rely solely on public transportation to get between the beaches and hotels of the island.
