An excellent address in the pedestrian center, offering South Tyrolean cuisine with a blend of Italian and Austrian influences. So typical that the waiters are dressed in traditional costume. Good pasta and meat dishes; try the Alpine roast beef with Lagrein wine sauce, for example. Try knödels, the famous bread dumplings similar to quenelles, schlutzkrapfen, game meat ravioli, and smoked meat with local sauerkraut. Finally, strudel is the local pastry par excellence.

An address in Egna's historic arcades, reasonably priced compared to neighboring establishments, and serving generous South Tyrolean cuisine, with fine offerings of homemade pasta, gnocchi and ravioli, and typical dishes such as breaded schnitzel and canederli. Traditional South Tyrolean recipes are skilfully combined with Mediterranean delights, and the result is not bad at all. Fast, efficient service.

A splendid building surrounded by vineyards, on the road leading down to Lake Caldaro. You are warmly welcomed in the tastefully furnished rooms with stone walls and wooden ceilings, or on the terrace in the courtyard or garden. The limited menu highlights seasonal products in a cuisine of Italian and international inspiration (try the roasted scallops with truffle and white chocolate!). Nice selection of wines from South Tyrol. A rather romantic, sensitive and intimate setting for this restaurant run by sincere people.

Gastronomic restaurant established in one of the oldest buildings in the centre: in the 13th century, it was occupied by the canons of the cathedral and became the monks' inn. The establishment was obliged to close at dusk, but the rule was sometimes broken... This legend is the origin of the restaurant's name ("The Dark Host"). Today, of course, there are no restrictions: even after dark, you can enjoy fine and creative dishes within the historic walls or on the pleasant terrace in the inner courtyard.

An enviable location, right on the shores of Lake Caldaro, and refined cuisine, above all Italian, but with some Tyrolean and even Asian digressions. Creative, colorful plates and delicious combinations of flavors. The starters are beautiful and inventive, as are the main courses and desserts. The €15 weekday lunch menu is a real bargain! You can also opt for breakfast by the lake, with a choice of formulas ranging from the sportiest to the most festive, the latter accompanied by sparkling wine.

The restaurant is located at an altitude of over 2,200 meters in the Lumen Museum of Photography, which opened a few years ago. So this restaurant is right up there with the clouds at the top of Plan de Corones and is only accessible by cable car. It is open at lunchtime with late service until the beginning of the day. In the kitchen, the team of the talented chef Norbert Niederkofler, three starred! He brings his "cook the mountain" touch to sublimate the alpine flavors and proposes affordable and contemporary dishes in a cosy setting.

Self-service is the order of the day, but traditional dishes are prepared with care and in gargantuan quantities. This refuge-bar-restaurant is located at the top of the slopes of the Reda Crossa cable car. It is therefore only accessible during the day. It's renowned for its delicious plates of local specialities, fresh mushroom dishes when in season, and homemade cakes. It's an ideal place for families: in summer, there's a playground out front, and many hiking trails start from the refuge. In winter, it's right in the middle of the slopes and the starting point for a 5 km toboggan run!

If you're looking for a good restaurant in the resort (or a good excuse for a long lunch break), this 1,600-meter-high restaurant will be your ideal refuge. You'll never tire of the panoramic view from this height, which you can enjoy with a good draught beer. On the plates, Tyrolean specialties are executed by a deft and creative hand, available in table service or self-service, with gluten-free options. In summer, you can lounge on one of the wooden deckchairs overlooking the breathtaking landscape.

The chef Bruno Steiner wanted to recreate the informal and convivial side of picnics in his restaurant: an open kitchen where you can see the chef at work, high tables, a family atmosphere, simplicity and freshness in the choice of ingredients. In fact, you can order everything to go! There is no stuffy atmosphere here, the tone is rather informal and friendly. The menu consists of only a handful of dishes that change constantly, dishes made with ingredients gleaned from the market and local farms.

It is the latest fashionable address in this bucolic and isolated valley. The Flurin is a trendy hotel that has nothing to envy of the city addresses, a gastronomic restaurant and a lively bar. The food is spectacular, high quality fusion cuisine where organic and natural mountain ingredients are in the limelight, especially herbs and flowers from the Alps. Mousses, emulsions, crunchy, melting. Local game is accompanied by peas, rhubarb and polenta. The cappelletti with wild garlic, cheese, asparagus and walnuts are to die for.

The homemade desserts have nothing to envy the big restaurants, like the tiramisu served in its little casserole or the apfelstrudel

The panoramic view from Ütia Crëp de Munt, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, makes this one of those places that will always be remembered! The energy and creativity of the new owners, the Niederkofler brothers, have recently transformed this mountain hut into a very special place, where the best traditions of Alpine hospitality are highly respected and Ladin recipes are revived. No wonder the symbol of the hut is a chamois, one of the most graceful, agile and dexterous animals in the Dolomites.
