Cinemas Basque Country

Created in 1953, this cinéclub is the oldest in Spain still in operation. It mainly programs in VO films that did not go out in cinemas or big classics of the cinema.

In the heart of old San Sebastian, the Teatro Principal (main theatre), inaugurated in 1843, is the oldest theatre in the city. Rebuilt around 1930, this classical building houses a varied programme of theatre (often in Euskera), dance and music. It is also home to several film festivals, including Dock of the Bay (a music documentary festival) and the Fantastic and Terror Film Week.
