Less known than that of the Tête d'Or or that of Parilly, the park of Gerland is yet a green lung between the banks of the Rhone and the facilities of the Matmut Stadium. In Marcy-l'Etoile, the park of the Lacroix-Laval estate offers 115 hectares of gardens, meadows and forests, dedicated to family walks. Lacroix-Laval is located next to a castle whose foundations date back to the 12th century. The historic vegetable garden and rose garden are conservatories of fruits, vegetables and flowers of Lyon origin, old and remarkable.
